If I had bought Softbank in 1998, I think I too would have sold a little to get my initial stake out and run with the house's money <G>. This is not based on logic, but it is fun to talk about. I actually sold some calls (LEAPS) against my Gateway Computer holdings and the price of the calls on half my GTW actually covered my entire initial investment. So I am running with the house's money with GTW. Unfortunately, as things turned out, I would have been better off not selling the calls and just holding. I predict that two or three years from now you will look back and wonder why you sold that Softbank position at such a low price <G>.
