but Heinz....given the market is sometimes efficient....if you have good fundamentals...and are not trading purely on TA.... are not fundamentals at least a form of safety for an investment regardless or in spite of market moves?? In your comment, I sensed you completely discount the value of fundamental analysis.... where often having the fundamental story in place before the pack may lead to a great short term...if not long term trade....having the story ultimately anticipating the larger moves which can be witnessed in the chart....and in addition to news....which always supercedes TA. one example would be pmtc....recently at the 19 level....all TA signals were crying sell.... for days/weeks stochastics were totally maxed out with no where to go.... in the past such an indicator would have definitely predicted trouble ahead....but in this case the solid fundamental story would have kept you there for a rise of another 9 points or even higher since then. In this case the most traditional TA failed completely....something I haven't often witnessed to such a degree as in this example. regards J
