Well I guess I have to put my two cents in.What I've noticed is that SUNW has also been faultering. They are an American CO. .They had a record profit this quarter.Guess what...MS showed a record profit and the shares shot up.It's hard to compete against a cult company if you are a known competitor. This tells me that Corel can go easy on advertising ,they have succefully accomplished this.

Now MS products don't live up to all the hype. One of these days the consumers will wake up. And hopefully Corel will have the quality product that they deserve and desire. If thats the case then Corel will gain market share.MS could easily dump their product to kill Corel but thanks to Antitrust I don't think they will. But then again they dump IE and no antitrust. So you go figure that one out.

Corel is counting on Java to give them the edge on the Corporate markets. So to me it seems imperative that Corel gets their act together and produces this Java office because MS is right behind them ready to embrace and monopolize.

Sun has Java chips in the works so don't expect Intel systems to keep the lead on software speed. But this is good advertising for Java so I think Sun won't touch this one yet. With Intel onboard this gives Java more credibility which MS is always tring to kill.

Go Java Go
