The "market conditions" referred to are really more like "market strategy" situations: Tax-loss selling, specifically. If you have big REALIZED gains in some of your stocks, it makes sense to do whatever you can to minimize taxes. One way to do this is to sell stocks AT A LOSS, and use that loss - dollar for dollar - to offset some (or all) of the gain. Since EDIG traded much higher earlier in the year, a lot of people who bought at that time have a loss. If they sell now at a loss, however, they have to wait 31 days to buy the stock back or the sale at a loss is considered a "Wash Sale" -- not countable (invalid). So if people are selling this month, a lot of them might be buying back NEXT month.
