Patrice, I agree that Avid's future is in high-end integrated systems/environments for TV stations, post-houses, etc. But I am making the argument that these markets are limited and will not allow Avid to show the explosive revenue and earnings gains it did a few years back when it was a hot stock to own. IMHO, this stock is way overvalued right now and is set up for another fall.

If you're talking about MCXpress, it is very similar to a Media Composer 1000, without some of the extra features. I don't think you can run it on a Targa 1000, but you'll have to check with Avid on that. MCXpress will do real-time cuts and a few FX as well; I believe your board is not a dual-stream board.

By the way, as I said in an earlier post, the most impressive technology/software product I saw at NAB was Apple's QuickTime 3.0
