Mani, IEDM is becoming a PR battleground. There was nothing impressive about Intel's 130 nm technology. They claim the top cache speed of 1.06 GHz, while IBM presented results for their 0.18 um SOI process with cache speed of 1.5 GHz. Also Intel's gate delay is about 10 ps compared to less than 8 for IBM. There is nothing to brag about this Coppermine process, not bad, but also not earth shattering either. Zoran
