You sound like a man who is desperate for gift ideas. I am ALMOST done with my away gifts. HAven't started on local or family. Today was my card deadline. So I am printing out my Christmas letter--- although I cheated and am sending copies of CW's going away column. I wrote what I thought was a very funny Westbrook Mountain -- a variation on DAR Mountain. DAn read it and said- "Um, you're not sending this to people, are you? I don't think you can send swear words and stories about our beating each other up and drinking moonshine to our relatives." Hohum. Boring. I liked thinking of their faces as they check the return address to see if I'm still at home or hospitalized. penni, with bruised joie de Noël
