I've been thinking the same thing. We put ours in the living room, so I can drag it in through the front door. Hardwood floor, so, to heck with the needles! Hmm. Hope the weather holds.
The Nutcracker tradition is nice - we used to do that, too. Now, we go to a play at the Repertory - which always has a nice one in December. This year it is "Into the Woods."
