I think the earnings announcement Monday will be OK. The stock is thinly traded and does carry a very high multiple. Looking over a list of local stocks here in Silicon Valley, many have corrected 30-40% since January 1.
The reason that Aspect has carried such a high PE is that their expected growth rate is so high and the market potential is very great.
It is possible that the stock could come down from here but I think we will be seeing dramatic increases in earnings and that in 1-3 years the stock will be flirting with triple digits.
With only 13 million shares out, they do not have to develop Microsoft's sales to generate that kind of appreciation. I am in this stock in the mid 20's and will hold through this correction. If I had more money I might put it into this company.
