SBAS - one possibility for SBAS, according to your post of the article by Peter Kertes (BTW, who is he, where did you find this article, and what is the date?), is that its wholly owned "OpenAvenue" open source software architecture portal will be spun off and do its own IPO. Well, we've all seen what the IPO market has been like of late, like the last 3 years!

If this is true and "discussions with underwriters along that line have started," then this is a very interesting stock indeed. Another Linux realated IPO could generate a lot of investor interest, and I'm guessing SBAS would have a big stake.

Mr. Kertes also states that a "top-tier" brokerage will begin coverage soon. Would that be this Kauffman Bros. rec today? Could they be considerd "top tier" or could there be another rec. coming?

I'm long this one, and staying that way for a while.
