I talked again to the client that called me and he was sure that GPS said that their network was down due to a snafu with AT&T's network. The last time this exact thing happened was during the last Cisco ATM problem. I am sure that GPS's network was down, but not sure why. I didn't have time to call GPS (and get put on hold, etc., etc...). For all I know it could have been anything that caused the outage - I was hoping that someone who knew more about this than me and also that it was not an equipment problem with CSCO or LU.
