IMHO Lower ASP from Intel should help CPQ. CPQ's new iPaq for business might be driving Dell to lower their box prices. I'm not sure that it hurts CPQ that badly. I understand that Dell doesn't have the high end servers that CPQ sells, so that can't be compared. Lower prices in the mid to low end server prices have been competive for a while as I understand it. Lower ASPs in this area would impact CPQ.

I am not a tech person and take a very general approach to the subject. Perhaps we could get some technically competent individual to make some intelligent comments for us. John K and rudedog are my candidates.
