Interesting mission statement from CIEN 10K- "The Company has pursued a strategy to develop and leverage the power of disruptive technologies to change the fundamental economics of building carrier-class tele- and data-communications networks, thereby providing its customers with a competitive advantage." ************************** Can anyone tell me what "disruptive technologies" is? ************************** CIEN has got momentum. It is not going to lose it anytime soon either. The rest of the world is finally getting it. CIEN has leadership, financial strength, brains, great products and no legacy equipment base to protect.
