300 MHZ Pentium II is big news. There are a few people who will actually pay $1800 for a chip at that speed, and as long as Intel makes them they will keep getting remarkable premiums for them.

I'm glad Intel's going to dribble these out. They won't be great performers without Slot 1 and AGP, but they will appeal to the bleeding edge types.
