Some More Mundane Market Trivia

Those folks that seem to be stressing the lousy market internals, seem
to have a point. After improving dramatically from May to August, the
number of companies with a negative stock performance is again
increasing. This in the midst of a fantastic Oct/Nov rally?

PERCENTAGE OF STOCKS MAY AUGUST NOVEMBER

IR Greater than Index 17.5% 27.5% 30.4%
IR Zero to Index 14.8% 31.4% 16.0%
IR Less Than Zero 67.7% 41.1% 53.6%

(The November universe has 6,331 non-foreign Stocks.)

The Big Boyz now total 71 companies; however, I'm going to keep my
group of 63. In any case the Big Boyz continue to kick butt:
