How's this for excitment: Neighbor's kid became a billionaire overnight when his 16.2% stake in VA Linux Systems Inc (He's the President and CEO) is now worth $1.5B on paper. Offered at $30 on thursday jumped 698% to close at $239.25. It set a record for first-day performance by an IPO!!!! He turned down an opportunity to join his grad school pals who were starting a company called Yahoo! Inc. and instead started VA Linux. Just what we needed, another billionaire, they just bought 12 acres on the Pacific Ocean where they intend to build a house, his dad has 10,000 options. Plans on moving in with them once the house is built!!! Where do I invest, Meteor and Lucero!!!????!!! cheers, jerry
