Nasdaq-100 Index To Add 15 New Companies Dec 20 12/10/1999  Dow Jones News Service 
  WASHINGTON -(Dow Jones)- Nasdaq Stock Market Inc. plans to add 15 companies to its Nasdaq-100 Index, effective Dec. 20. 
  In a press release Friday, Nasdaq said it will add the following companies: MedImmune Inc. (MEDI), EchoStar Communications Corp. (DISH), Metromedia Fiber Network Inc. (MFNX), PMC-Sierra Inc. (PMCS), Adelphia Communications Corp. (ADLAC), i2 Technologies Inc. (ITWO), BroadVision Inc. (BVSN), Network Appliance Inc. (NTAP), Legato Systems Inc. (LGTO), NextLink Communications Inc. (NXLK), SDL Inc. (SDLI), Applied Micro Circuits Corp. (AMCC), RF Micro Devices Inc. (RFMD), Network Solutions Inc. (NSOL) and QLogic Corp. (QLGC).
  The above companies will replace the following companies: Andrew Corp. (ANDW), Autodesk Inc. (ADSK), CBRL Group Inc. (CBRL), Cambridge Technology Partners Inc. (CATP), Electronics For Imaging Inc. (EFII), Fastenal Co. (FAST), First Health Group Corp. (FHCC), Lincare Holdings Inc. (LNCR), Micro Electronics Inc. (MUEI), Reuters Group PLC (RTRSY), Rexall Sundown Inc. (RXSD), Ross Stores Inc. (ROST), Stewart Enterprises Inc. (STEI), Tech Data Corp. (TECD) and Worthington Industries Inc. (WTHG). 
  Shares of each of the added companies will be included on the Nasdaq-100 Index Tracking Stock (QQQ), securities that represent ownership in the Nasdaq-100 Trust. |
