Canuc is awaiting the results of a baseline environmental assessment study to determine the levels of mercury left in the tailings/sedements left by past mine owners in the area. When they receive this, the JV partner will likely finalize the deal, as clear title has apparently been resolved. I would still guess that they will not want to release any significant news until Strathcona releases it's Bre-x Busang assays in early May. Regards.
