Toshiba is supplying at least the main LOGIC processor - the EMOTION CPU - for the PlayStation II, but Sony itself is producing the graphics sysnthesizer chip.

I wasn't aware that they had any inside lock on the RAMBUS memory or that it was different from the Direct RDRAM used in Camino/820 based system. In fact, from everything I have read, the external memory will in fact be Direct RDRAM.

Perhaps you have a source for supporting your assertions ?
