Re Law Suits

Hi Darlene,

A lot of the Y2K litigation will involve companies (AT&T, etc) trying to get their insurers to pay them to take the bugs out of their own software, based upon fairly ancient maritime law. They say that doing so mitigates the claims from others and they should be paid because they are reducing the ultimate claims against the insurers. Obviously, the insurers don't quite agree with that.

It seems nobody in society wants to take responsibility for their own actions anymore, from Slick on down.

Yep, the grocery bag approach sounds good.

John
