I've not spoken with the company for over a month and
am not updated on any new development and strategy recently. As far as I know that N supply from the Russian producers without any doubt is a good deal. K from Golmud(may not be efficient) at what price is the question???

What do you think of this 500 million zinc project investment by the British firm? Do you know if this firm has any interest or vision in the fertilizer business?

LONDON - Billiton PLC said on Friday it had entered a joint venture in China on a project that could eventually produce up to 250,000 tonnes of zinc per annum and have an initial capital cost of around $500 million.

The agreement, between wholly-owned subsidiary Billiton China and Yunnan Lanping Non-ferrous Metals Co, would see a successful feasibility study followed by restructuring of the corporate vehicle ahead of development of an integrated zinc mining complex in Yunnan Province, south-west China.
London-based Billiton would have majority ownership of the eventual venture. ``This agreement is a significant step forward for Billiton's activities in China, and for our base metals business,' Steve Kesler, Billiton executive director responsible for new business, said in a statement.
At 0938 GMT Billiton's share price was 0.3 percent higher at 335 pence. It has traded in a 109-345 pence range so far this year during which it has outperformed its sector by 40 percent and the FTSE All Share index by 140 percent.
