Tony, Intel Investors, In the 1998 annual report, Intel lists $5.375 billion as both the "carrying amount" and as the "estimated fair value", with a difference of zero between them, of an item labeled "Long Term Investments." It would appear that Intel "marks to market" in their financial reports. Best Trading, X
