Linux has no chance at being a mainstream OS, its use will be for servers and professionals...and some gamers also swear by it, but Windows with all its bugs will still be the operating system of choice for years to come, if only because so many programs have been written for it. Sure Linux never crashes...that's just because you can't run 100 programs on it at the same time. Also, do you think everyone will be throwing away all their Windows programs in order to buy stuff written for Linux? Sounds costly to me! I'll keep the bugs for now thank you...However, if one day, Linux should allow us to multitask 100 different programs, and still be crashproof...Then I may consider getting it...that is, if someone should also donate to me the 100s of programs I currently run on Windows, written for Linux...for free! ;)
