Imagine, he wants to short for 3 or 4 points! What if MSFT announces a big take-over Sunday and the stock opens up on a gap of 20 to 30%? You never short a stock of a good company in a hot sector, particularly when this company has close to $20 billions in cash and no debt! If you want to short no problem, we'll be happy to buy your shares, but don't ask us to buy your shorts when you will have lost all your shirt and trousers. MF
