In dubio pro reo,

I have my doubts but I also keep in mind Mr Pinks investment history, per the stock picks mentioned here, amongst other things.

When he mentioned CUST / ZIXI as a flying turd he really nailed it.

Cust is circled by short sellers now (as their story may be hard to believe to suceed), but compared with the $8, 9, 10 when presented it is still up more than fourfold in less than 3/4 year.

Hence, what do we need? A bag of cash, a company, and a sound idea. That's what makes up a stock.

Stocks are like options on the company's success. Some are so deep in the money that the phantasy is taken out and any further improvement is marginal. Others are way out of the money, hence a striking success can really pay out though the chances of failure (zero terminal value) are way higher.

My part (here) is to decide whether I bear the risk, by investing into a story, rather than a value stock.

Sure is it difficult to own an option at $4.5 when it was to have at $1 to $2 earlier. But the increased risk appetite has its price.

Many underestimated Mr. Pink, attributing "linear thinking" to him earlier in 1999.
