Hey, get this. In early November, my primary care provider, Patient First, had threatened me (on a bill) with turning my "account over to a collection agency" if a payment that was obviously covered by my HMO, Cigna, wasn't paid by me by 11-30-99.
The service was provided on 4-11-99 and I have called Patient First twice prior regarding the bill. Both times they said they would take care of it.
At this point I am just waiting to see how far they will go. I also noticed recently that I no longer get those daily low introductory credit card offers. Hmmmm, wonder if they are damaging my credit report.
Obviously, the system doesn't work, and if this mess screwed up my credit history, someone is going to pay! Of course, each will blame the other. <ggg> |
