I'm sad for you. I hope the sprain is not serious. Do you need pain medications? I'd give Vioxx a try since it is not a narcotic. I take mine with food even though they say you can take it if your tummy is empty.

Certainly, The Wasteland is not syrupy!!!

Actually, I do not always find TS Eliot's poetry depressing. Usually, I read his work when I feel troubled because it may make me feel better even when he hits the mark in the poem, "The Hollow Men", for instance. I like his cat poetry, too! :)

He has a way with words that draw me in, although I tend to avoid his Sunday sermons because I do not believe in God.
