Kind of OT, but has anyone had any bad experiences with American Express brokerage accounts on forwarding info?

I just switched to them from Waterhouse because of the $0.00 commissions, but they have been very, very slow in setting up my account and responding to my questions. I'm worried that I might not get CMGI notices sent to me in time to subscribe to the IPOs.
