Technicals and CUBE: the technical picture is one of the strangest things surroung CUBE. I could not figure out what was happening running up to the last earnigns announcement, which by any standard were impressive. I'm not a technician but I do take note of two things: lower highs over the past 2 months and a downward wave that conjures up several things:

1) that most of CUBE's movements are created by traders with an impulse to short

2) that not a huge number of people are hard-core long on the stock

3) that CUBE is paying the price for a quick rise, built up by short term momentum players

4) that notwithstanding the breaking of the 200 day MA the long terms trend is still more or less positive.

5) that breaking 41 will be a momentous signal.

6) That CUBE's chart is starting to look a lot like those of "the other semis," including a few high flyers.

I would not be surprised even if running up to earnings there is little move to the upside.

I find this whole situation strange and have to assume, if the market finds its value that sooner or later CUBE is going to swing back. When? Why? I don't know.
