Snakes that live in pits are pit vipers. They are of a very poisonous breed. They need to be dealt with but with great caution. To deal with them one needs a clear head. Without a clear head the snake can sneak up and bite a person. It is sometimes difficult to decide how to deal with a snake. they are not easy for a person to understand. As the serpent in the garden of Eden, they have very cunning ways and have been cursed by God.
