Rod, this is really funny! I've worked UNIX most of my life, but now I'm working Windows 2000 on a 90% Microsoft-based product.

On my last job they sent a Windows 95 laptop on the space shuttle for an experiment. My boss, who was in Johnson Space Center in Houston, had the most difficult time trying to convey to the astronauts what to do when a particular event occurred on the laptop.

"You've got to perform the procedure we went over on the ground. You remember that special procedure? You know, our fail-safe scenario?"

He was trying to describe to the astronauts in a politically correct manner that they had to hit the reboot button, because Windows 95 had just crashed and left the computer frozen!

Yeah, watch out for Java. Very dangerous stuff!
