You and people like you are truly unsung heroes. Not only are your kids being well served, but you're taking up the slack for parents who are too busy or can't be bothered. They should be paying you. Moms who get involved in field trips, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts are the glue that hold these institutions together. Your contribution to society is incalculable. Plus, you say you finished at the top of your class? A woman with a law degree who finished at the top of her class can punch her own ticket. You have sacrificed a lot. I salute you and propose that we set aside a day to commemorate yours' and others' contributions.

PS - A lot of my posts tend to be political. Please don't interpret this as some kind of political statement. It's how I really feel about it.
