Bill, All good points...thanks. I'll add a non-technical indicator. In the last couple trading days, the folks on Bubblevision have started to make a few snide remarks, and done some head-shaking about this mania. Even Kernan, as I remember, who once choked up and started talking about "what a great country this is" on a particularly huge short-covering (oops: BIG RALLY) day. This is certainly the "ultimate indicator" and a sure sign that the AntiChrist will soon be here, the total destruction of everything we know is coming, dogs and cats...living together, warm beer and all kind of other nasty stuff.
