I agree with MarginMike....I'll believe it when I see the actual money being spent. China has been dangling a CDMA network in front of our eyes for quite a while.....

That article did not mention one thing....how was Unicom going to pay for this network? Supposedly they were supposed to have a public offering that would raise somewhere around a billion dollars to finance the build-out of CDMA. They ran into problems because Unicom needed to break out of the various JV's they had formed with foreign companies....I havent heard a resolution to this problem.
