Well I attended the OSII Stockholders meeting on 12/9/99 and the following is my report:

After the normal trivia the meeting got down to the real meat. I asked the first question to Mr.Vento the CEO as to why the sudden interest in OSII stock. He said that an Analyst who follows OSII and is very familiar with their plans and projections wrote a glowing report about the Company. That report was then picked-up by the Dow Jones News wire Service and sent out. That and a lot of speculation as to a buy-out, mergers, and some anticipated special news at the Stockholders meeting pushed the stock to a 52 week high of $ 8.00.

After all this fades, there is still good new for this fiscal year. The CEO stated that they will be profitable this year. Then he proceeded to tell us why he said that. In the past three years they have spent $ 50 + million dollars on R & D and now those product are being sold and marketed around the world. They are doubling their sales force and will have 40 Sales Reps on board very shortly. It takes 6-months to train a sales person on all of their products. They then expect each of those 40 sales people to meet a $ 4-million goal for the fiscal year. Do the arithmetic and you can see what the revenue could be.

The question was asked if they are open to buy-outs or mergers. The answer was a definite yes for the right Company or a good dollar offer. To day he said no offers were made and would let the Stockholders know as soon as any are presented. He did say that he would like to see the stock price much higher so that they could use stock to acquire some of the competitive companies to give them a broader product line.

He stated that OSII has a 9 % market share and is considered as one of the leading Telecommunication Software Companies. That shows you how much competition there is out there providing a variety of products.

I believe they have finally got their act together and are focused on the right product and are in the right place at the right time. They have good Wireless product to sell and are making in roads with companies such as Sprint, AT & T and Quest. I would not hesitate to purchase more stock at any major pull back.

I also asked the question if CISCO is still a major stock holder and the answer was no. He did say that they are a Customer. By the way this company is debt free.
