To all my fellow longs on C.M.G.I.:

Interesting comparisons of the two dominant v.c. incubators for internet stocks:

ICGE: mkt cap 28.5 billion, P / E multiple of 6,426 ( !!! - beyond insane by any standards ),a short history and a completely speculative future.

CMGI: mkt cap 22.5 billion, P / E multiple of 47 ( that's reality - and very cheap compared to even the safest tech stock plays like CSCO, SUNW, etc ),a proven track record of exponential growth and synergy between its companies, and the impending Alta Vista IPO which will add the better part of between 5 - 11 billion $ ( projected A.V. market cap, end of first day trading ) to its yr. 2000 profits.

Shouldn't CMGI be valued MUCH HIGHER than ICGE ? I think it will be soon: $ 250 on announcement of the split, $ 300+
leading up to the Alta Vista I.P.O. Your thoughts ?
