Well, I kind of figured this sunnyside couldn't be good, because the open house is too cheap. But there are a few neighborhoods that tend to sunny in SF and thats an awfully nice bene.

I have a friend who bought in what she thought was a bad area but turned out to be a good one. The houses are really cute but I guess the neighborhood isn't the best... I think its called Ingleside? (not sure) I've been to her house, and I like it, hardwood floors and little spanish styles in the neighborhood.... but thats just cosmetic, the neighbors make all the difference.

One area that is changing rapidly is Potrero Hill, I don't know why but all the mgmt from these dot coms is choosing to move there. I've never been there.

I live in San Mateo area now and its exactly the same as SF. The good areas like Burlingame have exploded in price. You can't get any real deals, but if you look forever something might come up - thats what I'm doing.
