Hi Brian,

Secondaries can swing both ways. IRID's earlier this year was a disaster for shareholders. OTOH, JDSU pulled one off in August and the market hiccupped for about three days before that roKKitstock continued on its parabola.

It really depends on the underlying strength of the company, the intergity of management and the uses to which the funds are put. In the case of AMCC, I have complete faith in management, admiration even. The underlying company strength is tops and the funds go toward expansion of sales in burgeoning markets. I don't want to sound too Pollyannish about this, but I think that we shareholders will do just fine with this one.
