Edwarda, It was important to you to clear out the place yourself thus saving bits and pieces of your history. So many people have someone come in and destroy such precious bits of History among the mounds of Junk, and steal the antiques and money... <BTW> Thank you for your Information on my GGGrandmother.. I not only found what the name means but I found a very long geaneology of the McAlexander Family and my gggrandmothers name as well as my gggrandfathers were included..I will be able to contribute a very lengthy list to the Geaneology Database.. It seems that my 5th cousin started it:-) Thanks again....
