I do not come here to argue. From my reading of many of the past posts on this topic board, it seems that what started as an argument has grown into a war. This seems foolish to me. A war fought from hundreds, maybe thousands, of miles can only amount to very silly cannon shots that will not win any battles. Only people will be wounded from the bursting of shells and no victory will ever be known. Discussion at any distance can be productive. If it does not seem to have any good results, perhaps even the discussion should be stopped and other topics should be considered for discussion.

As in a fight between two pit bull dogs, all others should stay out of the pit because in the fury of the battle even those who try to help can be bitten. There will always be those who want to help their own dog or the dog of a friend but the dog sometimes does not see this in the heat of the battle. When it becomes clear that neither dog has a chance of winning, they should go apart and leave the pit in peace while they lick their wounds and recover from the violence of the battle. Otherwise a good animal may be wasted for no good reason.

It seems that the topic of this board began as a discussion of the sanity of the present president. I will not show my thoughts here because many words have been written and said about what has happened and, since he soon will not be of importance to our government, perhaps we can recover from the effects of what has happened and try very hard to mend the tears that are in the freedoms promised by those who started this nation.

To those who may not be, or agree with, Christians please consider that Christians are only human beings too and none of us, or you, are perfect. We all feel emotions that can sometime get out of reason and foolish things are said and done. It may be good if all of you find another place to have your discussions until this place has had a chance to cool down. The vibrations of anger are very strong here and this is not a good thing.

I hope that I have said some words that can help to end the battle and heal some wounds. I do not intend to interfere.
