My pleasure. I figure few people who see those commercials will realize they are looking at really old technology. I think the commercial is deceptive in nature when you think that the target is an non-medical public. Color flow imaging is a "standard" technology of hospital grade ultrasound systems and has been for many, many years. That is why I think A is playing on emotions. To me what A or Agilent is saying is that we have no new technology but once upon a time......
3-D real-time imaging, real-time volumes, harmonics and things we can't talk about here are the "new" technologies.
All color flow imaging is, is a color assigned to the direction of the blood flow. It is really just doppler in color, which has been around forever. It is flow towards or away from the probe in color, that simple, no big deal, been around for MANY years. Just a form of what the cops use to nail you for speeding.
A very deceptive commercial IMO and it doesn't go with the football games I'm trying to watch. Maybe on "Believe it or not" but not with football.
Nice try Agilent, show me something new.
