OK - here is a question.

As I say I worked in a daycare center in college. It was across from the university, and therefore most of the parents were students.

Do you think it is acceptable for a mother to drop off a child at a daycare center while she is attending college?

I won't answer for you... but I will tell you that my sense is that most people think daycare for women with small children while they attend university is fine.

However, when the occupation moves from education to work, it becomes somehow "different". It certainly isn't different for the children. It is different in the minds of the judgemental adults, and that is all. This issue is full of dichotomies like this.
