golf, my figure of $75,000 per Kg of Si-28 was based on what Eagle-Pitxher will supply ISON, if this figure is even higher, since you state that E-P is not semiconductor grade, it further my case that Si-28 will never have a major semiconductor application. By the way, all method that produce isotopically pure element, are almost by definition at least 6/9 , namely, pure to 99,9999%, the only contaminants might be some residual oxygen and hydrogen, important, but far from critical.
