Eugene You do not know what the next generation Q phones can do. For argument sake lets say they are pretty fantastic. Why would Nok allow somebody else to be able to compete with them? Why would they allow 15% of The wireless market go for a billion dollars? Especially when they can triple that output. Look at it like Ford buying Jaguar. They didnt really need it, but it helped their product mix. The only argument you could repond with would be the surender of the ASIC CDMA market. However Nok has failed misrably here, and could use this as a face saving strategy to start buying Q chips. They are the only major player who isnt, and their phones are way behind. I believe that NOK is the best deal, and Nok has every reason to buy it. The Engineering talent alone justifies the price.
