James,

This is definitely *OT*, but...

Be careful in your choice of cards, especially the new Matrox multi-monitor cards.

If you are an active trader, you will probably want to upgrade with WindowNT (assuming that you haven't already). Within the next 3-4 months, the new version, Window2000 will be released. Here's where the fun begins...

I tried a Matrox G400 card on Windows2000. It isn't supported because Windows2000 doesn't support some of the graphics functions that the G400 uses. Currently I use two separate video cards for a dual monitor display. I use an ATI PCI card (3D Rage Pro) with a 3dfx Voodoo AGP card. Works Great. If you decide to use an ATI card, ensure that you only have one on your system. Each ATI card fights for dominance. Two ATI cards won't work together. (I tried.)

Regards,

Dan.
