I think its age discrimination to be sure... not only because the young have to pay boucoup bucks in property taxes for the same house when the neighbors pay, oh, $150. or so for the same tract... but additionally, the neighbors had the ability to send their kids to a public school system that was pretty good, with all the amenities that should be in a school - music, athletics etc. and these days nobody with kids can do that, they have to shell out for private school... its a double whammy. That group should be ashamed of themselves, I can't believe they aren't. I'm in favor of increasing taxes for the schools somehow, but I don't know how. Property taxes for new home buyers are too high. A lottery is no way to fund a school system!
