I received a letter from the President and CEO of Procept, Mr. Stanley C. Erck today in the mail. The letter was addressed to 'Dear Shareholder' and dated 10 April 1997. Everyone who owns shares in Procept should have received a copy. Nothing new. Mr. Erck states "We believe that PRO 2000 Gel is a unique product candidate that fills a critical void in the efforts to develop methods to prevent AIDS." He also says "We are now in discussions with potential pharmaceutical partners that will be valuable in helping us bring this product to the worldwide market."

Attached to the letter was a copy of the press release "Procept Receives Patent for Novel Method of Inhibiting HIV Infection." Also included was a two page informational/marketing brochure "PRO 2000 Gel." Again nothing new, but the publicity should be positive. Procept seems to marketing PRO 2000 as "A Woman's Choice."
