Royal Bank of Canada switches to Citrix. A couple of days ago I dropped by my bank to do some face to face banking at my Royal Trust Office (part of the Royal Bank). This is the largest bank in Canada. (There are only about 5 big ones in the whole country). One of the reps was showing off the new Windows NT network they had just switched to five days before. Guess what it runs? Citrix. It was very neat watching my data via a Citrix window. The staff was delighted to be away from the DOS world and into the Windows world. Citrix everywhere meant something very real to me. Anybody have other stories like that?
