True, but if you have say 20,000 employees and then a consulting project for 30 million (in one year) that would skew things a bit, and it isn't going to show up in the B&N headcount figures, because these projects are amortized over some period.

Also, the stock options given to brick and mortar technical employees are far less generous.

Sure, my guess is they are negligible. But again, if PW is doing all your technical work you are shelling out 350K/year for those people. Its a bit of a hidden expense.
