Saturn, re:<full speed vs. half speed cache> Well, if Intel's web site says its full speed, I guess it is. However, I would love to have seen how the CuMine would have performed with half speed cache. Doubling (or was it quadrupling?) the data width to the cache and then halving the speed would be an interesting tradeoff, giving slightly higher latency (but still better than a half speed external cache, for sure), and equal or double throughput.
